A local Airtel prepaid SIM is the most affordable option and provides both mobile data and an Indian +91 phone number.
An Airtel kiosk is normally available in the Terminal 2 international-arrivals area, after baggage collection. Availability and opening hours are not guaranteed, particularly late at night.
Bring your passport, Indian visa and Bengaluru accommodation details, and allow time for registration and activation. If the airport kiosk is closed, visit an official Airtel store in the city the following day.
